Why we started Swiss Snack Box
We've always loved good food and great company. But too often, Friday movie nights began with the same frustration: no snacks at home. We'd either settle for whatever we had or rush to the nearest shop. We thought - what if you could simply order a ready-made box and spend that time together instead?
That's how our first box, the Movie Night Box, was born. And we didn't stop there. Every occasion deserves its own selection, so we created themed boxes that save you time while delivering something thoughtfully prepared.
From day one, we set out to create more than a box of snacks. We wanted a beautiful, gift-worthy experience - the kind that sparks the childhood thrill of opening a package and discovering what's inside.
Our story is also shaped by travel. Our founder made friends around the world, and we kept in touch by sending each other local snacks - a highlight every time, full of new flavours and happy memories. A friend from Japan helped our founder see Switzerland with fresh eyes and appreciate just how much our country has to offer. Why not share that with the world?
At first, we wondered if Switzerland had enough variety. Months of research proved it does: beloved childhood classics and exciting new finds. The result is a carefully curated box we'd be delighted to receive ourselves - one that proudly celebrates Switzerland.
